Between 1953 and 1962, Ms. Moto Noda worked as a dormitory mother, taking care of all the students living at the dormitory at the time. When Auntie Noda passed away a few years later, many former residents of the dormitory attended the funeral in memory of the deceased. This led to the establishment of the Dormitory Alumni Association in Osaka and Tokyo. Since then, the Dormitory Alumni Association (Tokyo) has held a regular meeting every October to keep old friendships alive.
