For all alumni

Kyoto University Kyoto Aoi no Kai

The Kyoto University Kyoto Aoi no Kai was founded in May 1985 as the Kyoto University 1940s Graduates Association. In May 1993, the name was changed to Kyoto University Kyoto Aoi no Kai (after the emblem of Kyoto University), along with which requirements about year of graduation were removed. Although graduates of Kyoto University tend not to get together in groups, they can use our gatherings as opportunities to unwind, letting them freely exchange opinions away from work. The Kyoto University Kyoto Aoi no Kai strives to be a place where all types of graduates can interact with one another, regardless of age, sex, or affiliation. There is an admission fee of JPY 10,000 and a regular meeting participation fee of JPY 6,000 yen or higher, but no annual membership fee or such.
