Rikuseikai (Division of Applied Life Sciences)

The Rikuseikai is an alumni association that inherits the history of the former Department of Agricultural Chemistry and currently consists of the 11 laboratories of the Department of Applied Life Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture (Division of Applied Life Sciences, Graduate School of Agriculture) (Cellular Biochemistry, Biomacromolecular Chemistry, Bioregulation Chemistry, Chemical Ecology, Plant Nutrition, Molecular Microbiology , Fermentation Physiology and Applied Microbiology, Microbial Biotechnology, Bioanalytical and Biophysical Chemistry, Biofunction Chemistry, Applied Structural Biology), and the 2 laboratories of the Graduate School of Biostudies (molecular cell breeding science, plant molecular biology), and the 7 laboratories of the Cooperative Courses of the Division of Applied Life Sciences (Chemistry of Molecular Biocatalysts, Molecular Microbial Science, Plant Gene Expression, Metabolic Science of Forest Plants & Microorganisms, Biomass Conversion, Graduate School of Agriculture donated course “Industrial Microbiology,” “Physiology Research Unit” at the Center for the Promotion of Interdisciplinary Education and Research).
