Ryokuyokai (marine sciences courses)

The Ryokuyokai is an alumni association consisting of graduates, faculty members (and former faculty members), and related parties of the former Department of Fisheries Science of the Faculty of Agriculture as well as the former Division of Fisheries Science of the Graduate School of Agriculture at Kyoto University. The emphasis on the graduate school and the restructuring of the faculty and division led to a reorganization into the Division of Applied Biological Sciences with three academic units and six areas as well as one collaboration area (Division of Field Science) as a research area building on such developments. As such, the association is currently on hiatus.
