For all alumni

Faculty of Economics Alumni Association

The Faculty of Economics Alumni Association “aims to facilitate friendship among its members and contact with our alma mater” (Article 3 of the regulations) and consists of undergraduate and graduate students, current students, current and former faculty members, and professors emeritus.

We hold a board meeting, general meeting, lecture meeting, and social gathering in Kyoto every October, facilitate friendship and exchange among members, and publish the association bulletin once annually.

Moreover, we have eight branches across Japan in Hokkaido, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kinki, Kagawa, Ehime, northern Kyushu, and southern Kyushu, each fostering friendships through their own general meetings, social gatherings, lecture meetings, and so on.

We also conduct activities for current students. More specifically, we have student events and job hunting seminars with graduates and sponsors as speakers.

In the future, we plan to put more of our activities online and hold “Online Economics Meetings” (lecture meetings with faculty from the Faculty of Economics), while also further improving our member services by putting member information and contacts online, thereby creating a systematic foundation for sustainable alumni association activities.
