Kokakai  (Undergraduate School of Industrial Chemistry)

The Kokakai consists of graduates, faculty members, and students of the Department of Industrial Chemistry, Faculty of Engineering and the six chemistry divisions of the Graduate School of Engineering (Department of Materials Chemistry, Department of Energy and Hydrocarbon Chemistry, Department of Molecular Engineering, Department of Polymer Chemistry, Department of Synthetic Chemistry and Biological Chemistry, Department of Chemical Engineering), Division of Energy Reactions,  Department Fundamental Energy Science, Graduate School of Energy Science, and Division of Chemical Reaction Complex Processes, Institute of Advanced Energy. At the annual Kokakai lecture meeting, lectures are given by emeriti professors and alumni working in companies and elsewhere. Moreover, a member register is created once every four years. The Association also provides financial assistance for the purchase of student literature and similar causes.
