Kyoto University Alumni Association of Civil Engineering Graduates “Kyodokai”

The Kyodokai (official name: Kyoto University Civil Engineering Association) is a large alumni association with more than 10,000 members, consisting of mainly civil engineering and environmental engineering graduates and faculty members of the Faculty and Graduate School of Engineering.
A lack of documentation makes it unclear when the association was founded, but the first graduate in the alumni list kept by the Association was from the class of 1903. Based on this, we speculate that the Kyodokai might have existed from around that time. It is one of the oldest alumni associations at Kyoto University, boasting a long history.
Currently, we have 18 branches all over the country, organizing social gatherings and other events once a year.
