For all alumni

Suiyokai  (materials science and engineering)

The Suiyokai consists of graduates and current and former faculty members of the former Department of Earth Resource Engineering and the Department of Metals (currently under the Graduate School of Engineering and the Graduate School of Energy Science), which are the successors to the Department of Mining and Metallurgy, Kyoto University. It is an alumni organization that goes back more than 120 years. At the annual gathering, we hold not only a general meeting but also a social gathering to promote friendship among our members. The annual gathering also includes a special lecture on the latest technical information, with the speaker being a member who is working in the industry and academe. Moreover, we publish the Suiyokai Bulletin once a year, which doubles as an academic journal and an alumni magazine.
