New York Rakuyukai

The New York Rakuyukai was founded in 1985 centering on Lead Coordinator Suyama, then president of Maki Fifth Avenue. The Association had more than 250 members during the bubble economy, actively engaged in a variety of activities, such as the New Year’s general meetings with famous speakers and golf competitions. Today, nearly four decades later, accompanying a rejuvenation of the average member’s age, the group has become more fluid and relaxed when coming together. Moreover, we are in close contact with the Kyoto University alumni associations in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco, as well as the Kyodai Collaborative and the Kingfisher Scholarship program, with plans to expand our network among members active in various fields and our juniors at Kyoto University.

If you happen to pass by the New York area, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
